WHEN WAS A TIME A PERSON OR GROUP HELPED YOU WITH SOMETHING THAT SEEMED UNMENTIONABLE AT THE TIME?
I went through a very difficult time when I was teaching English in the Republic of Georgia. I lost someone very dear to me back home and was struggling to deal with my grief in a foreign country where I was not able to effectively communicate what I was going through. A fellow volunteer and friend, who was sick and had been hospitalized the week before, traveled to the village where I was living to comfort me when I needed it most. This small act of kindness made a world of difference to me.
