Give Dignity with Kimora Lee Simmons and The Unmentionables on Giving Tuesday
Austin, TX: Today, on Giving Tuesday, help refugees reclaim basic dignity through hygiene by giving to The Unmentionables. Every gift made will be doubled in size and matched by fashion icon, designer, and philanthropist Kimora Lee Simmons.
All donations will go directly to helping refugees who lack access to basic hygienic products; including menstrual hygiene products, underwear, bras, and condoms — products The Unmentionables helps to provide. In the short span of a year, The Unmentionables has already achieved incredible success, providing more than 88,050 intimate hygiene products to more than 32,000 displaced people, including those displaced by Hurricane Harvey.
For #GivingTuesday today, The Unmentionables is sharing three simple ways to help empower refugees through the gift of proper hygiene and empowerment programs:
Give dignity this Giving Tuesday by giving to The Unmentionables. Even a gift of $5 can help to provide a displaced person with hygienic products like underwear, menstrual hygiene products, or condoms. Designer and women’s health advocate Kimora Lee Simmons will match gifts up to $10,000 total, so even small gifts will have double the impact!
